HiHo Cheeseburger

What to expect

LA counter culture with a single obsessive thesis: the American cheeseburger deserves better beef. Specifically 100% grass-fed, grass-finished Wagyu, ground daily, salt and pepper only. Old-school flavors, new-school cattle resume.

White buns, American cheese, ketchup pride, hand-cut fries, house shakes, scratch pies. Minimalist menu maximalist about the cow.

Burger

Cheeseburger as religion: Wagyu that actually sears, clean taste, marbling that shows up for work. They refuse to bury the beef under eighteen toppings. Burger Review team recommendation: classic cheeseburger, no hero modifications, fries on the side.

Bun

Classic white bun baked daily, no preservatives, no high-fructose nonsense. Soft. Correct. Unfashionable on purpose.

Cheese

American cheese — “it’s just not the original without it.” Agreed.

Pickles

House pickles without corn-syrup sadness. Bright little knives against rich Wagyu.

Sauces

Beef, cheese, ketchup — their stated holy trinity. Sometimes simplicity is the flex. Onion slow-cooked for hours if you want sweetness without theater.
